- About Our Office
About Dr. Brian McMurtry and the staff at Mountain Island's Premier Dental Office
Dr. Brian McMurtry attended the presitgious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned both his BS in Chemistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. McMurtry was commissioned a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, completing a General Practice Residency and serving as Dental Department Head aboard the USS WHIDBEY ISLAND (LSD 41). In 2005, after resigning his commission as a decorated veteran from the Navy, Dr. McMurtry opened his dental practice in the Mountain Island Lake area of Charlotte and has been proudly serving his patients since that time.

Our office accepts most of the major dental insurance company's plans and the check is sent directly to us. Depending on the plan your employer has set up with the insurance company, you will only be responsible for that portion which they do not pay. Contact our office at 704-392-3883 and we will be happy to discuss your plan in further detail with you. We may need to collect some necessary information from you first.

with lunch from 12 - 1 pm
Thursday from 7:10 am - 3 pm
The office is open on selected Fridays.
During the summer (June - August), the office will operate on summer hours,
7:10 am - 2:30 pm.Our office is located in northwest Charlotte, at the corner of Rozzelle's Ferry Rd and Hwy 16 in Mountain Island Village.
